We have called the robot Play Bro. from the group.
TERM 1
week 1, 2, 3 and 4 these weeks were building play bro and boy, it was fun and guess what i think i was the the person who put the plug in that made his motor and himself work.
week 5 and 6 these weeks we are trying to program him to do some simple moves but we can't get the hand to spin around and around.
week7 today me lachlan, jaxon, me and play bro did the pedestrion challange where we have to program play bro to drive in a staight line fromone side to the other and we can't hit the people at the end. our best run was when we programed the distance to 2.3. p.s i was the robot handler
week 8 today we got the job of having to program it to do a 360 turn. it was very hard because it had to be perfect. also when we finished we got it perfect and got 5 marks out of 5. p.s i am the recorder.
week 9 today we have to program him to do 3 different sencers but ound out that we have to program it to do a snake. p.s i am the computer guy.
week 10 today we performed our snake and got a 3.5 and we are very happy with it. now we are working on our shimmy. p.s i am the robot handler.
TERM 2
week 1 today we performed our shimmy and it was fun and we got a 5 out of 5 and fooled Jaxon by telling him we only got a 2. p.s i am the recorder
week 3 we started our sensors and boy that was fun we are going to do the arm the sound and the touch sensor.... we tried to get it marked but we were to late but proberly next week we will get it marked. p.s i am the computer guy
week 5 this is so cool we get to choose a song for a dance we have to make up and finaly we choose party rock anthem. p.s i am the robot handler
week 6 in our dance we are going a little bit slow at first but then we got stuck into it and then we get about 30 seconds done and we are really catching up to date. p.s i am the recorder
week 7 today i was all by myself but i got work done and am doing great now we are just about a minute into the song it's great. p.s i am all 3 people today
week 8 now we are just trying to get the timeing perfect for the dance in the song and we were about to perform it but the bell rang and we had to go home. p.s i am the robot handler.
week 9 part 1 Today we are trying to get the dance done and we are so close to finishing we just need to one more thing. p.s i am the recorder.
week 9 part 2 we had to stay up at lunch to finish our dance and after day 1 of term one till now it is time we get a mark for the robot dance i can't wait. p.s i was the computer guy
week 9 part 3 today we perform the dance and i push the touch sencer to make it go for the dance i'm so proud of myself and my team who helped me with making and programing it. i think we got a good mark but i don't know it the a great time. p.s i was the robot handler.
Term 1
Week 1,2,3 and 4 Today we were trying to build the robot which was a lot of fun. We tolk turns and we kkep building as the most exciting part was when play bro moved for the first time. From Lachlan Ellson
week 6 and week 5 these two weeks we had fun learning how to program our robot playbro. We had a lot of fun trying to find out how to make his hand spin but we failed.
Week 7 Today we did a padestrian chalenge. What we had to do is make our robot move from one line and make it stop at the other with line out touchine the lego people or nocing it over. This was a very fun chalenge as we all enjoied it .We never got the robot on the right spot but it was vvery funny when it went over the line and hit a persone. From Lachlan Ellson
Week 8 In robotics today we learnt who to make our robot do a perfect 360 as the group is working very well together. Now we are trying to find out to use the sensors as we are struggling alot. we are having a lot off fun as we try to get it the moves perfect. As a group we are working very hard as the sensors are very hard. We are also trying to the snake as it is hard to get the snake to move in the right direction. From Lachlan Ellson.
weerk 9 Today we tried to use the sensors antil we needed to start our snake. The reasone we ha dto swich the subject is because the snake was due first. the snake was hard as we did not get it in on the day as it was not good it was not ready.
Week 10 Today we performed our snake to miss Burnes and she gave us a 3.5 which we think is a pretty good score and then we started our shimy.
Term 2
Week 1 Today we finished our shimy and we showed the teacher and she liked it a gave us a 5. Jaxon was not there at the time so we told him we got a 2 and he fell for it and it was really funny. After this we got started into making our three sensors.
Week3 Today we worked on the sensores as at the start of todays leason we did not work so well together but we ended up sorting it out which was good by the end of the day though we did finish our sensores but we just missed out on getting it marked.
Week 5 today we have found our song called Party Rock Anthem on youtube so now we can get started on the moves. We are getting a start on our moves as we are starting a little way thrue the song to make it easier.
week 6 today i was computer controler as we have made masive improvments which is realy cool. We have got to around 30 minutes into the song.
Week 7 Today me and Jaxon was not at robotics so Jake was all by himself and did a good gob with improving our dance.
Week 8 today we have our last day trying to get our dance done and i am on recorder so the others are making the rest of the dance.
